What people who don't live here don't realize is that despite its enormity, New York City is actually just a collection of small towns, each neighborhood filled with people who know and care about each other, just like anywhere else. Case in point, legendary drag performer Jackie Beat -- aka The World's Biggest Bitch -- who's been shooting from the hip for so long that the old broad needs both of them replaced, but doesn't have health insurance to pay for it. Time for a benefit! 

HIP HIP HOORAY: BONE-A-FIT 4 JACKIE BEAT 

Joan Rivers, Debbie Harry, Parker Posey, Fred Schneider, Jackie Hoffman, and a gaggle of downtown performers are joining Jackie onstage for "Hip Hip Hooray: A Bone-A-Fit for Jackie Beat" on Sunday, March 3 at The Cutting Room, 44 East 32 Street. Also expected alongside Jackie Beat at Hip Hip Hooray are Frank DeCaro, Formika, The Glamazons, Lady Bunny, Sherry Vine, and The World Famous Bob, with video messages from Roseanne Barr, Margaret Cho, and Joey Arias and music by DJ Miss Guy.
