Here's one you don't read about. A woman is suing her doctor for surreptitiously testing her for HIV -- her white blood cell count alarmed him -- after she specifically told him she did not want to be tested. His actions will likely extend or save her life, but he certainly violated New York law, which requires that HIV tests only be performed after patients receive an explanation and give their consent. Will be interesting to see this one work its way through the legal system. Read HERE.

One of the many reasons an HIV test should be just a routine part of a physical.. and it would remove the stigma of taking the test.
