Not sure if this has made the national news -- how could it not, though? -- but a married New York City police officer has been arrested for plotting to kidnap and cook 100 women. Naturally, we cannot wait to see what the tabloids are going to do with this -- and mock New York Post covers have already begun making the rounds.-- but I think No. 1 is going to be tough to beat. (Unless it's cooked right.)
UPDATE: Now how about the nanny on the Upper West Side who just butchered two infants -- and possibly others -- she cared for?
