It's incredibly sweet/weird when a cousin digs up home movies of your parents -- young and happy -- that you've never seen before, especially when you barely have a memory of them ever being together (let alone happy). My mom, as always, is adorable. Wonder if she just got her driver's license or something. I'm awaiting a DVD of more films, but my brother got his and says he thinks it might be her first paycheck because there's a brief drive-by of a supermarket "co-op" where she worked in Silver Spring, which is where my parents met.
Oh, and was "Diner" based on my dad and his brothers/cousins/friends?!!!
