Military Life in the Post-DADA World

A great story in today's New York Times about how a year after the repeal of "don't ask, don't tell," everyone agrees things turned out rather well. Missing from the article is a statement from John McCain apologizing for his hateful and patently false statements that the end of this discriminatory policy would do "great damage to unit cohesion that is essential to effective military operations, particularly in combat, and deter some Americans from enlisting or pursuing a career in the military."  Read HERE. President Obama says the repeal is strengthening national security. Read his statement HERE.
