Was thinking of starting a "Song of the Day" feature when I came across this headline in the Guardian last night: "The Best No. 1 Records: Blondie -- "Atomic." (They also picked "Eat to the Beat" as a favorite album in 2011!) Hard to believe I wasn't born in a country that could produce such a brilliant journalism -- it's soooo true! -- but alas I'm just a kid from Michizona, who had this very photo from the article plastered on the walls of my room. (I ripped it out of Lester Bangs' classic 1980 book.)

You ripped up your Lester Bangs book?! (gasp) Let this be the only regret in your life.
The Brits got this one right too; like "Chain Reaction" above, "Atomic" should have been a much bigger hit in the US.
