Although I'm pretty agnostic about Maria Sharapova, you gotta hand it to her for working herself back into top form these past few years following near-career-ending shoulder surgery. She looked great getting revenge on Wimbledon champ Petra Kvitova, but it's what happens in the final that will really show what she's made of. Her opponent will be Sara Errani -- whose upset of Sam Stosur was a sad reminder that the Aussie seems to only play well when she's the underdog -- and if Maria loses to her, it will be the third time in a row she's fallen to a Grand Slam virgin. Losing to a talents like Kvitova and Victoria Azarenka is one thing. But losing to an unheralded 5-foot-5 Italian is another thing altogether.
