On the Rag, Vol. 194

A weekly look at what's making news in the free gay mags:

Next features Matthew Ludwinski, the star of "Going Down in La La Land," the new Casper Andreas movie based on Andy Zeffer's ripoff of Matthew Rettenmund's "Boy Culture" novel of the same name. Read HERE.

Odyssey New York features the men of L.A. Jock out front. My advertisers don't like things this risque on the main page -- talk about your product placement -- so if you wanna see the uncensored cover, you're gonna have to go HERE.

Frontiers celebrates 30 years in print this week, a major accomplishment in these tough economic times. Like Interview and Rolling Stone, the magazine has shrunk considerably since its heyday -- I was in L.A. briefly a few weeks ago and picked up a copy and was surprised it's now a "normal" size -- but EDGE is long gone, so here's to being the last mag standing! Read what others are saying about this milestone HERE.

Boi Chicago's cover is right on target if you like cute guys and girls. Online edition HERE.
