Romensko takes a look at the bizarre story cumming out of the Houston Chronicle, where the last two society writers have been fired when the suits found out they moonlighted as a sex workers. Of particular interest is Devon Britt-Darby, who worked at the Chronicle from 2007-2011 under the name Douglas Britt, but also keeps a blog about his past work as a gay escort named Devon, an "occasional adult film star" and a crystal meth addict. To clarify: the meth addiction was back in 2004 and ended my escorting career at the time.
