Hail to the 'Veep'
It's too soon to know if Julia Louis-Dreyfus' "Veep" will leave up to its hype. (Pilots are tricky, and it takes awhile to get to know the characters and what makes them tick.) But when the star of the show declares "... I am busy in there apologizing to that fucktard," you can be pretty sure things are off to a good start.

If you haven't already, you should watch Ianucci's "The Thick of It," especially Season 3. There are clips on Youtube like this one. Julia Louis Dreyfus is very much like the Nicola Murray character.
I liked the pilot (though i hope it gets better), but I had a hard time separating Louis-Dreyfus from her 'Old Christine' character. Similar unfortunate situations, though the VP dealt with them somewhat better.
This show is simply awful! Didn't laugh once. I doubt that it will get any better.
