I get dozens of press releases about new LGBT projects every week, but this one definitely caught my eye. Guest House Films announced that principal casting has been done for its latest movie, "The Men Next Door," but it was the story line that piqued my interest. The "fast-paced comedy" is about a 40-year-old man (Eric Dean, brunette below) who is dating a 30-year-old (Benjamin Lutz, above) and 50-year-old (Michael Nicklin, silver fox) at the same time. Given my single friends' stories, this age-gap dynamic seems ripe with possibilities, but then I read the kicker: our protagonist doesn't realize the two are father and son.

Additional casting for the movie will be announced soon. I can't vouch for anything but being skeeved out, but anyone interested in supporting "The Men Next Door" can visit the film’s IndieGoGo campaign HERE.

Eric Dean is a friend of mine, and he is a terrific guy in real life!
