Darren Criss Means 'Business'

Spotted this high above Broadway tonight on the way home from work. Has anyone seen him in action yet? I think he made his debut in "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" last night.

did not see it, not a fan of the munchkin. saw him live at a charity event and he was not so hot singing live and shockingly teeny tiny. find it comical when anyone other than a 12 year old girl calls him sexy - memo to one of my friends who reads this blog; you know who you are.

i think he's FINE...and can sing and dance up a storm on Glee...I'd be surprised if he's not excellent live on Broadway...

I saw him on his second night. I am a fan, but was underwhelmed by his performance. It was a bit bland, but he had only had 2 weeks of rehearsal. He was probably just trying to remember his lines and hit his marks. He is charming on stage, but doesn't really have a major Broadway voice. (He does have a good voice. Watch "Not Alone" at the Trevor Project show on YouTube)

The audience of Glee fans went nuts for him. Jane Lynch was a few seats from me and the crowd gave her a big round of applause. Afterwards, there were over 200 people waiting for him at the stage door.

I think he is a very cute, talented guy and has handled his overnight fame quite gracefully. (Literally, overnight after "Teenage Dream" from "Glee.") It will be interesting to see where his career goes. Will he be David Cassidy - a teen idol TV star who fades - or Hugh Jackman - who can go from movies to Broadway - or chart his own course as an actor/singer/songwriter?
