On last night's "Chelsea Lately," my favorite talk-show host offered to buy Chaz Bono a new penis. She said she's not sure why GLAAD is upset with her now, but that hopefully hooking Mr. Bono up will settle things. By the way, for those who don't appreciate Chelsea, it's worth noting that she later asked sidekick Chuy if he had ever met a man without a penis before, to which he replied: "I'm looking at one now." Both Chelsea and I about died laughing!

Ah, finally someone I can ask about tweets. I understand why you would send a tweet like this to your followers as commentary. But, what was the point of sending it to Chelsea, Chaz and GLAAD? Are you just trying to stir up trouble? Couldn't you have just tweeted this to your followers and include these people's names without their handles?
Now THAT is just-plain classic Chelsea funny! My enjoyment of her show(s) and humor has sadly waxed and waned the past few years, but this literally made me LOL!
@Anonymous: I didn't really send it "to" Chelsea, Chaz and GLAAD. You have to be following each other to send direct messages (and none of them follow me), so using their handles is really just speaking in Twitter language, and allows my followers to jump over to the other people's feeds if they're interested in following them too. While it's true that referring to them by their handles will allow them to more readily see who is talking about them, they could just as easily search their plain-text names to discover that too, so how much they obsess over who is saying what is up to them. I don't see it as stirring up trouble, either. It happened on national television(!), so I doubt I'm the first one telling them about it!
