'Weekend' and 'Shame' Hunks Win at British Independent Film Awards

Some well-deserved praise at the British Independent Film Awards last night in London. Sexy Tom Cullen took home the award for most promising newcomer for "Weekend." (That's Tom and costar Chris New, above.) "Weekend" also won for best achievement in production. "Tyrannosaur" beat out Steve McQueen's evocative "Shame" and Lynne Ramsay's "We Need to Talk About Kevin" (among others) for best feature, but Michael Fassbender won best actor for "Shame" and Lynne Ramsay won for best director for "Kevin." Will be curious to see if any of these films get recognized in America's awards ceremonies. See the complete list of winners HERE.

Michael Fassfender won the best actor prize for "Shame," but it was his shameless flaunting of his naked body that won me over.

Not sure what Bradley Cooper or Dominic Cooper were doing there, other than adding sex appeal.

Bradley certainly wasn't there to pick up any acting awards!
