Trevor Project's Fall Fete Slated for Nov. 4

The Trevor Project -- whose mission is to "end suicide among LGBTQ youth by providing life-saving and life-affirming resources" -- will hold its Fall Fete benefit on Friday, Nov. 4, at Union Square Ballroom. For tickets or more information about this worthwhile cause, please click HERE

If you're not familiar with "Trevor," Peggy Rajski's Academy Award-winning short film that inspired the organization, I urge you to take a moment to watch it here. My best friend, Mark, introduced me to this timeless coming-of-sage story -- brilliantly written by James Lecesne -- about "love, loss and Diana Ross" (set in 1981!), and I still quote lines from it nearly 20 years later. That Trevor reminded me a little of Mark when we were kids made it all the more special, this LGBT classic.
