The team behind "Dirty Girl," a new indie film about "a pair of mismatched misfits who must discover each other and themselves through a funny and serendipitous friendship" circa 1987, wants you to know it gets better. Writer/director Abe Sylvia -- whose rendition of "The Sun'll Come Out Tomorrow" didn't go over too well back in the day with "all the boys who wanted to be Brian Bosworth" -- says his new film about growing up in an intolerant place offers a universal message of hope.
