This compelling open letter to Anderson Cooper -- who seems awfully unhappy on the set of his new talk show -- on why he needs to come out of the closet will move you, but will it move AC? It's written by my online pal Alan Bennett Ilagan and can be read HERE.

My guess is those huge, knobby tires. Way too much rolling resistance.
As Rupaul says: "If you can't love yourself, how in the hell are you gonna love somebody else..."
@Christopher: Well, I could see "loving" Ben no matter how much I may despise myself!
I'm sure he loves Ben long time! I stand by my observation that his limp was a result of being fisted the night before!
Lets love out fellow gay men for who and what they are. Not think any one of us knows whats right for them. Why is it gay men are so mean to each other? This is Gay Bullying in the reverse. Bullying someone to come out. :)
Only white, gay men care if he comes out. I haven't heard one, non-white person give a damn. Not one. If I should ever meet him, as long as he's respectful to me, he's just fine. That's all that matters. If people need a "role model" so that they can feel better about themselves, that's THEIR issue. Not ANDERSON's!
He's sweet and charming and I like him for that.
I'd like him to come out, but if for whatever reason he doesn't that's okay.
Are young Gay men really watching his show. I think athletes, movie stars would have more impact as role models. Even someone like Neil Patrick Harris has more influence.
Anderson Cooper doesn't hide anything when he comes to New Orleans. He lives his life as he chooses and it's patently obvious he's either homosexual or bisexual. Yawn. But why did that blogger throw out such far-fetched opinions and denigrate a person for whom he says he is completely disinterested? His rambling diatribe wasn't worthy of being posted at all, and is far below the calibre of information usually seen on Kennerhinthe212. I wish you had not enticed me to read such drivel, Kenneth. You're a pro and that guy is an acerbic, bitter sensationalist.
Is forcing people to come out the new trend? I just feel so bad whenever I see gays bashing on other gays to come out.... it's saddening.
You said yourself that the show suffers from some incompetent workers, Kenneth. If he's being a bit testy with them my first guess would be that it's because they aren't up to snuff yet and are delaying things and messing up when he has a tight schedule and another job to get back to.
