Here's wishing everyone a safe and unlaboring Labor Day. I'm a proud longtime member of the Communication Workers of America but even if you aren't a union member, don't believe the self-serving bullshit the GOP has been spreading about collective bargaining and the like. The destruction of unions is just another way for the right to boost profits of their corporate donors -- let the reciprocal backscratching begin -- at the expense of working/middle class people. We're going to need all the strength we can gather in 2012, and unions are the foundation of it all. Happy to see the people of Wisconsin finally wised up to this -- here's hoping the rest of America does so as well.
