Will the Real Mr. Gay Philadelphia Please Stand Up

Here's a look at the recent Mr. Gay Philadelphia contest, where Dash Sears, a gymnast on the Temple University gymnastics team, was crowned the King of Brotherly Love. (That him with co-hosts Brittany Lyn and Frank DeCaro. Is Dash tall enough to even go on this ride?)

PaperMag reports that everyone thought Gunnar Montana, above, was going to win it all, but didn't even make the final five. (If that's not enough to put a crack in your Liberty Bell I'm not sure what is!)

The contenders

The judges

So while everyone thought Gunnar deserved the title, and Dash was given the title, I think it's safe to say that judge Brian Sims (with Dash, above) is the true holder of the sash: just look at the man -- woof! Everyone tells me that Brian is more than just a pretty face ("he's pretty on the inside too," they say), yet all I can think about is that pretty face. Read what I blogged about the former college football player HERE (I knew he looked familiar) -- and read PaperMag's full pageant report HERE.
