While Time magazine's gala for its 100 Most Influential People In The World last night at Lincoln Center looks like a lot of fun, I'm not sure what to make of a magazine world where the likes of Amy Poehler, Mark Wahlberg, Kim Clijsters and Blake Lively are considered the best the planet has to offer. (What, was Heidi Montag not available?) Nice touch on the inclusion of Chris Colfer, though. Photo highlights follow:
Chris Colfer
Brian Williams and Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey
Martha Stewart, Jess Cagle of Entertainment Weekly, Blake Lively
Amy Poehler and Seth Meyers
TIME managing editor Rick Stengel, Dr Mehmet Oz, Lisa Oz and Mark Wahlberg
Lala Vazquez and Carmelo Anthony
Patti Smith and daughter Jesse
Bruno Mars and Sting
President of Planned Parenthood Federation of America Cecile Richards and Darren Criss

Omg, please don't tell me all of those depicted were on the list? No wonder the world is in such a state - Chris Colfer, Bruno Mars?? Glee does no more than promote old gay stereotypes and just adds autotuning for good measure. And good grief Darren Criss is pint sized when photog'd with someone.
