“I remember when I was growing up, the rule was, ‘Don’t call anyone after 10 p.m.' Now the rule is, ‘Don’t call anyone. Ever.’" -- Jonathan Adler, from Pamela Paul's hilarious piece about the death of telephone calls, "Don't Call Me, I Won't Call You," in The New York Times.

I know, it's sad... But I'm kind of one of those people now who HATE talking on the phone. Unless it's my partner when he's traveling, my mom or my best friend back home, I rarely make a call. Though I can't imagine being a teen these days and texting my BF/GF. Hearing the sound of their voice was what made talking on the phone so special "back in the day."
