Wow. While my friends and I were having one of the funnest days in recent memory at Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert's "Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear," a bunch of other people in Washington were nearly trampled to death. Watch this horrifying just-released video that shows a bunch of people being thrown into a human pile after a downward escalator's brakes failed. Amazingly, only six people were injured.
