But Does Gaga 'Take You by Surprise'?

If I were gonna go down this slippery slope of splitting (artificial Caesars Palace-style) hairs -- which, as the Speakeasy's Christopher John Farley wisely points out is a complete waste of time -- I would have at least included this photo of Madonna, performing a classic version of "Gambler" on her virgin tour. I mean really, people, get your nitpicking straight.

It's just hair. What can be done with it that hasn't been done before?

Since Madge was never too original herself... remember when she played at being so many different old stars? Her Marilyn phase? Her Dietrich phase? And now she's trying to pass herself off as a 20-something. Maybe Madge is now playing at being Lady Gaga?

Come on. Madonna ripped off "I Dream of Jeannie."

Did we forget about Madonna imitating my favorite ... Marilyn Monroe?

Who cares, everyone copies, just be a little different with your signature style and any artist will be fine.

Madonna, loved her in the 1980 and early 1990s. Now, not so much.

Lady Gaga, LOVE her. Plus she pays my salary indirectly and she's is wide and crazy and FUN. Something that was so lacking in the 20 something generation. You go gurl!
