Sub-Standard?

What might happen to the self-esteem of most American women if they learned that these woman were fired as a cocktail waitresses at the Boom Boom Room atop the Standard Hotel in New York City for not being attractive enough? The Post reports that in a lawsuit filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, Faye Rex (left) and Stephanie Jaggers say they "were canned from their jobs at the Standard Hotel club because they weren't tall or thin enough" and did not live up to the "statuesque and runway-model-stunning" look management now required after a makeover of the exclusive nightspot. Guess it's safe to say Tiffany shouldn't be considering a job there as a back-up plan in case this tour with Debbie Gibson goes South.
