Sad to read that quirky and influential bassist Mick Karn, best known for his work with the British band Japan, died Tuesday in London after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Kyoko, and his son, Metis. Read about my high school love affair with Karn's band HERE. May he rest in peace.
