Why is Kathy Griffin always posing like a Valkyrie? I just find it very...um...I'm not sure if the word is "unusual" or "creepy"...that these two even know each other, let alone well enough to spend KG's 50th together. But that's just me.

Met Steinem two years ago at a small political event and she looked great and was fascinating. She was campaigning for Obama and was very gracious and persuasive, even in the face of several rude women who were Palin supporters.
What I wonder about when women are in a group shot, like Kathy is in the picture at Gloria Vanderbilt's party, is why they feel compelled to carry their stupid huge purses with them for the picture.
