The Cast of 'Glee' Gets Dirrty

Gee, I wish I had been this big of a nerd when I was in high school. (Via GQ) My "Glee" ennui has kicked in again. I've only watched the season premiere so far on my DVR, so I'm a good three or four (or five?) episodes behind. People have told me the Britney episode was great (because of Heather Morris), but as a non-fan, I'm not that motivated to watch. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think of Season Two so far ...

The Duets episode was the best this season. Was super-offended by the religion episode - it was less than open-minded and fair about atheism/atheists. If you're on the fence about GLEE, you should probably just skip that one.

You can definitely tell it's a Ryan Murphy show this season. A little girl on girl necking, they gay boy that sort of harasses the straight boy he has a crush on, the drug use(nitrous in the Brittany/Britney episode). It's definitely worth watching.

Is it just me or does every Terry Richardson shoot look exactly the same?

As for Season 2: 'Grilled Cheesus' is the only episode thus far that has reached the highs of some of Season 1's classics. I teared up when Kurt sang "I Want To Hold Your Hand."

The Duets episode sucked, but some of the performances were excellent. 'River Deep Mountain High' was awesome.

It's still one of the better shows on TV.

I feel like the show is trying way too hard this season, with all of the theme episodes. (I still cannot believe they're doing Rocky Horror Picture Show with a female Frank N. Furter.) The special guest stars are making it like a musical "Will and Grace."

"Brittany/Britney" was amusing at best; however it was still an hour well spent. I must politely disagree with Brian; I thought "Duets" was great. (Am I the only person who thought Finn & Rachel's 2nd duet -- "With You I'm Born Again" -- was freaking hilarious?) And yes, LHH, they ARE trying hard this season but that is because the show was sooo hyped last season (and this season, too). All things considered, Brian is right -- it's still one of the better shows on TV.
