London Calling

It's the most wonderful time of the year for tennis fans, as the players slowly arrive in London for the game's most prestigious tournament, Wimbledon. Last night's pre-party at the Roof Gardens featured an eclectic crowd of non-players -- from Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross to Jade Ewen and Amelle Berrabah of the Sugarbabes (plus every "TV presenter" that side of the Atlantic). As for the players, I must admit that many of them looked far better in their civilian clothes than in years past. And while some of the male celebs had my full attention, it was kooky Jelena Jankovic who took the prize for the best accessory of the night (you know what they say about the crazy ones in the sack ...).

The only Slam she needs: Does anyone know who Jelena Jankovic's date was? (See another photo HERE.)

They've come a long way, baby: Serena and Venus Williams

Welsh rugby stud Gavin Henson, in one of Serena Williams' hand-me-downs

Ana Ivanovic, a former French Open champion, with the current champ, Francesca Schiavone

Raging metrosexual: Rugby union footballer Danny Cipriani

Maria Sharapova; Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross

You just know what Fernando Verdasco has on underneath those pants of his

From Russia with love: Dinara Safina and Anna Chakvetadze

I had no idea that Francesca Schiavone was such a cute boy. I'm so glad you caption your photos.

Her boyfriend is a Montenegrian water polo player, Mlađan Janović. They've been together for a while.

^Yes^ and his name is Mladjan Janovic. They met at the Beijing Olympics.

And yes, he's super HAWT.

It's really sad that comments like that one that Sean posted are accepted. To insult another person based on their appearance, and to think it's a funny joke, reveals him to be just mean spirited. Too bad, that he can't accept people for who they are. Oh, and I'm sure he is extremely handsome to be the judge of a person's beauty, both inner and outer.

Actually, Peter has a point.
As members of the gay community, one would think we would be more accepting?
