Pardon the sparse blogging today. I decided to get rid of my "dinosaur" LG Dare (from waaaaay back in 2008) and got a Blackberry Curve yesterday evening, and my entire world has been turned inside out. (I was seriously considering the Motorola Droid -- I wanted a keyboard this time -- but that thing was just too huge for me.) You see, I HATE change -- even a lot of changes for the better -- so not being able to operate my own phone has me completely on edge and unable to focus on anything else but overcoming this liability. This upgrade will undoubtedly be for the better in the long run -- I literally had to "log on to the Internet" to access my Yahoo mail, Facebook and Twitter accounts, and type in my user name and password -- on that horrible touchscreen keypad -- virtually EVERY time I did so. But nonetheless, at least I knew how to do this. (I'm going to be really good at being a senior citizen what with my fear of change and love of tapioca.) I also have to show my face at the unemployment office tomorrow, so I'm going to be out of pocket for much of today. On the upside, my stylist gave me a Prada suit last night after running into me at the gym. As you can imagine, this burgeoning fashionista is tickled beyond all belief, even if he scoffed at me for not getting an iPhone as I tried the jacket on in his apartment. thanks for the info...i, too, got the LGDare (actually at the same time you did) and can't stand not having an actual keypad...so hard to hit those little letters on the touchscreen...I may consider the Curve now, thanks to you...keep us informed on how you like it...and good luck with the job interview!
I recently upgraded to an LG Rumor! I'm excited! It even has this thing called WEB. I haven't even tried to figure out where that icon leads- too scary!
how coin-ki-dink! I just received my upgraded BB Bold 9700 last week, following a terrible accidental dismantling of the previous phone's charging port - damn thing never worked anywhoooo....I love my new Bold...GPS and all, and here in Phx, you know that's needed....I reset my left convenience button to call up my contacts list instead of the lame voice dialing feature...enjoy!
