Page 1 Consider (04/14)

  • Making It?: I didn't even realize Sunday's "How to Make It in America" was the season finale (since when are "seasons" only eight episodes, even on HBO?), so now we go into "Will it get a second season?" mode and the jury's still out. The Company Town blog notes the show's low "even by HBO standards" ratings, but then points out the show's younger demographics and the fact that HBO rarely gives up on a show after only one season as pros. But after getting my heart broken by "The Comeback" -- which was a far better series -- I won't be holding my breath. (Company Town)

  • Tickle-Me Massa: That Eric Massa is even more fucked up than we originally imagined. Apparently hitting on every guy in the Marines and every guy in his congressional office wasn't enough for him. He also hits on bartenders at Marines' funerals. (Daily Intel)

  • And She Was BFFs With Karen Carpenter: Dorothy Hamill told the Fox411 that she would have been gay if she was a man. Makes sense. She would have had a Dorothy Hamill haircut, after all. (Fox411)

  • She's a Maniac: Natalie Merchant's new double album sounds really awful. (Tonic)

  • I Hate Fuckabee: I'm really getting tired of even giving these type of people the time of day, but let me just say: FUCK YOU, Mike Huckabee. (AP)

  • A Different Light: Lighting designer Alejandro Bulaevsky, 26, was found dead Monday wearing a latex suit and mask with his hands cuffed behind his back in his luxury Manhattan apartment, law enforcement sources said. Police said there were no signs of forced entry and it did not appear that anything had been stolen. (NYP)

  • Frankly Speaking: Rep. Barney Frank on ENDA, DADT and how LGBTers should lobby like the NRA. (LGBT POV)

  • Names Will Never Hurt Him: Frank Anthony Polito shares his experience going from the author of the acclaimed gay novel "Band Fags!" to just plain banned when Facebook deleted his fan page due to the incendiary f word. (Advocate)

  • Note to Tea Baggers: If you can't see what's wrong with a "Straight Pride" T-shirt, then you really don't have a place in civil society. (Michigan Messenger)

  • King for a Day: Billie Jean King is set to receive the full "This Is Your Life" treatment on an upcoming episode of ESPN's "Homecoming With Rick Reilly," which will follow the tennis legend to her hometown of Long Beach, Calif., where she won her first tournament at age 12. (LB Press-Telegram)

  • His Win Is Our Gains: Openly gay candidate Craig Lowe wins ugly Gainesville mayoral election by 35 votes, triggering automatic recount. If Lowe holds on, he will be one of 71 gay mayors in the United States. (Towleroad)

  • Three's Company: Constance McMillen, Judy Shepard, and Lt. Dan Choi will serve as Grand Marshalls for the 2010 NYC Pride March. (Examiner)
