'The Kids' Is Not All Right

I saw this trailer for "The Kids Are All Right" the other night before "Greenberg" -- which was great, BTW, but I am abnormally pro-Noah Baumbach. "The Kids" sounded promising to me when I first read about it at Sundance, but I didn't like the vibe I saw here at all. Angry (man-hating) lesbians, straight guy coming on to partnered lesbian or lesbian coming on to straight guy (you know, 'cause all lesbians secretly want The Dick) and cliche "free spirit dad" who is way more fun than "uptight mom(s)." The reviews have been good, so perhaps I'm wrong. But if it does turn out to be a great film, it will have been the worst trailer for a winning movie since "Clueless" back in 1995.

UPDATE: I was wrong!

I feel like we've seen an entirely different trailer from one-another. I didn't get "angry" or "man-hating" from the lesbians, and while the bio dad is a free spirit he's also being shown as clearly someone who isn't a good parent. I think you're applying your own assumptions/fears about a movie like this rather than seeing something that's actually there.
