On the Rag, Vol. 74

A weekly look at what's happening in the city's gay rags:

Odyssey New York uses a handout of LucasEntertainment performers Avi Dar and Shane Frost this week

Meanwhile, Next inexplicably puts drag queen Bebe Zahara Benet on its cover. There's nothing about her inside (I Googled her and it looks like she's from "Rupaul's Drag Race"), but a more interesting cover story would have been Benjamin Solomon's nice piece on New York's hardest-working gay nonprofits, and "the dedicated staff and volunteers who fight to make our world a better place," including Kenyon Farrow of Queers For Economic Justice, Kyle Suchomel of the Trevor Project and Matthew Ryan of the Stonewall Community Foundation (l-r).
