State of Disgrace

As expected, the marriage equality bill was defeated -- by A LOT. Not only did they not get a single Republican vote, they could barely get Dems on board. Luckily for the good people of New York state, our laws are being dictated by a Pentecostal reverend who is opposed to a woman's right to choice, stem-cell research, the Gay Games and even a high school created to provide a safe learning environment for LGBT youths (and HE'S a Democrat!). Way to go, Bronx.
