Albany Albatross

So the New York Senate is finally going to put marriage equality to a vote tomorrow (OK, I'll still believe it when I see it). But I thought supporters specifically said they would NOT do so if they were not sure they had the votes for it to pass -- and they don't. That we're even for a second "counting on" a couple Republican votes tells me everything I need to know. (Did NO ONE learn anything from the Dede Scozzafava affair?) Long live second-class citizenry. So funny how the state doesn't have any issues with Michael's and my tax same-sex dollars ... in fact, they give gays and lesbians "special rights" in that department -- to pay more. (Full story HERE.)

Of course, maybe the GOP have their reasons. Alex P. Keaton turned his back for a minute (pretending his Parkinson's disease was worse than it really was) and what happened? His mom is a lesbian now!.
