The reviews for Carrie Fisher's one-woman Broadway show, "Wishful Drinking," are all over the map (from "you feel as if you've been stuck in a simultaneously garish and cheap boudoir
with a garrulous drag queen who just. Won't. Shut. Up." to a "
brut-dry, deeply funny memoir of a show"). But I have a feeling it's what you bring to the table that will decide how much you enjoy it. Having followed Fisher since her screen debut in "Shampoo" (how I wanted to
BE her and get "seduced" by Warren Beatty -- and
have Lee Grant as a mother!) , the show sounds right up my ally. Now the only thing I'm wishing for is some decent seats so that the intimacy is guaranteed ...

There's a plot point I seem to have missed in Hair.
I'm thinking you meant to say Shampoo. :-)
Oops! "Hair," "Hairspray," "Shampoo" ... something like that!
