Ladies Who Lobby

Are the producers at Bravo having a hard time casting "The Real Housewives of D.C."? Two potential candidates who have had camera crews following them are apparently out, and none of the other contenders have been confirmed. Insiders are saying no one with any real political connections would go near the show ("this is a city of discretion")(!!!), and anyone without might as well be in "Miami or Marin County." While these sound like legitimate casting concerns, something tells me they just haven't quite found the right combination of narcissism and tackiness yet. But having lived in Washington for a number of years, I'd say finding what they're looking for is just a matter of time.
