Top Gunn

By now you've probably heard that Tim Gunn -- of "Project Runway" fame -- has been immortalized as a comic-book character ("fighting crimes of fashion") in Models Inc. from Marvel Comics. To celebrate the release of the issue, Gunn and Marvel artist Phil Jimenez will sign copies on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Midtown Comics, 200 W. 40th St., from 4 to 6 p.m. (Purchase of the comic book is required.) While my friend Frank recently wondered whether or not all of America is aware of Gunn's sexuality, my friend Steve wonders if Jimenez -- "who is totally Tim's type" is the fashion icon's lover. (You don't say!) I've never read a comic or watched an episode of "Project Runway" in my life, but Gunn sure was a hoot on "The Daily Show" recently. I like.
