'Q' Up the Goodbyes

I sure as hell won't be up for this (I don't even go to bed until around 6!), but "Avenue Q" stars Ann Harada and Anika Larsen -- along with their co-star Kate Monster -- will perform "The More You Ruv Someone" and "There's a Fine, Fine Line" live on the CW11 Morning News this morning. I don't know what time they go on, but the show airs from 7 to 9 a.m.

I still haven't seen this Tony-award-winning play, but I need to soon. "Avenue Q" will play its final performance on Broadway at the John Golden Theatre Sept. 13, having played 2,534 performances and 22 previews.

Everyone I know has seen Avenue Q and loved it. I saw it and thought it was just silly and twee.

Oh well.

I'm off to see a preview when it starts here in Sydney next month. Thankfully, the price is right for a student ticket, but I'd have loved to have been to see the original on Broadway. I want to be in New York sometimes :(

Craig and I still have not seen it, either... And we even know one of the original cast members who's STILL in the show: Jennifer Barnhardt. Shall we make it a double date? We can get tickets for around $35 on TDF. Just say when!
