Pop Life

Gay pop-artist Olan Montgomery will showcase select art from his new book, "POP -- Art Inspired by New York's Own Subcultures From Celebrity to Subway," at the Ward-Nasse Gallery in New York City (178 Prince St.) on Saturday, Aug. 8 at 7 p.m. His works feature the likes of Alan Cumming, Boy George, Courtney Love, Anna Nicole Smith, Rufus Wainwright and a tribute to Florent, the beloved Meatpacking District eatery that was an artists' haven in the '80s.
