I'm pretty excited about this new movie about The Runaways -- and I'm not just saying this because Cherie Currie accepted my friend request on Facebook yesterday (OMG!). Kristen Stewart looks fab as Joan Jett. It's too bad they cast Dakota Fanning as Cherie though (as if!). I guess it's possible she'll surprise us with her breakthrough "mature" role (well, it's not like anyone saw that rape thing she did), but somehow I doubt it. What next, Macaulay Culkin as Kim Fowley? (Via TMZ)
