THIS is an interesting piece about the humility New Yorkers are experiencing having to watch less-hip places like Vermont and Iowa pass same-sex marriage before we did. Truthfully, I don't really agree with the premise (I think it's great that progressive pockets around the country are leading the way and let's be realistic,New York is a HUGE state and most of it is NOT Chelsea), but it's still a fun read.
