I've always found it odd that Madonna didn't live downtown, but at least Central Park West made some kind of sense (at least it's nice). Now she's said to be following the Jeffersons' lead and moving to the Upper East Side? So says the New York Post, that reports her new mansion is on East 81st Street between Lexington and Third (aka the "Far East").
