I did but it wasn't from Riptide - he was in a "Will and Grace" like movie where he was gay and married his best/lesbian friend. The only thing I remember about the movie was a scene where she comes home early and fears that she is about to find him in the shower with another man but is shocked that the he is a she when she opens the shower door - to reveal a naked Perry!

You can get a brief full frontal of him in "Mandingo" (1975) - a really awful and slightly erotic movie about southern slavery. He is the somewhat sympathetic lead character. There is another scene in which he is reclining naked in bed - hottie. This movie was possibly the first time I realized I was attracted to men, when I saw it available on dvd I had to watch it again.
One of my best friends went to Juilliard with Perry. He was "Bi" at the time. Honestly.
I had/have the biggest crush on him. I had fantasies of him and Joe Penny getting it on.
Wasn't "Riptide" up against NBC's original must-see TV, the Coz, Fam Ties, etc.?
I must have missed out on the joys of Perry. You can't expect Mr. King to compete with Mallory & Nick. You just can't.
I loved Riptide. And I do remember Perry King. So hot! And I was under 10 years old when this show as on! Wow. But I do remember these "One to Grow On" clips. Funny!

OMG, Gregory Harrison! I am a bit embarrassed to admit this (and it certainly dates me), but when Trapper John MD was on the air I had a MAJOR thing for that man. The opening credits always showed him stepping out of the shower and I used to begin a j/o prior to the start of the show and time my orgasm with that brief moment of the opening credits. Ahhh.... uncomplicated young life!
Hey Taylor, you aren't the only one who did that...too bad they didn't have VCRs back then...there was no margin for error if you missed him getting out of that shower...WOOF!
Perry King? Riptide? Oh yeah. And he was paired with dark hottie Joe Penny. The two of them were so gorgeous together it made your eyes water. Funny that Riptide hasn't been released on DVD.
King also appeared on Will & Grace as a "dad" candidate for Jack, courtesy of Karen. Woof again.
