My friend Christopher just turned me on to the hilarious Australian show "Summer Heights High" (now available on HBO on-demand). I just watched the final episode and I'm already missing Ja'mie, Mr. G and the rest of the gang. See why here:
Private school princess Ja'mie discusses the prevalence of sluts in public schools
Drama teacher Mr. G discusses "special ed" kids, who he thinks don't belong in his latest production

Kenneth, if you love this (which I do) you should find "We Can Be Heroes" (aka "Nominees.") It's written by the same guy and Ja'mie started her life in this show about a nomination committee looking for the "Best Australian." Each show is the committee going around with a different nominee for the day. He plays all the nominees. It's awesome and this covers when Ja'mie was at her previous prep school.
BTW, amazingly, Summer Heights High didn't do very well in Australia/UK verses the first show.
YAY! I love this show too!! Can't wait for the DVD to come out this month or next...
"You're a naughty girl/with a bad habit/bad habit for drugs"
LOL!
Summer Heights High was a phenomenon in Australia, what are you saying Greg? He won all types of awards and spawned a single (by Mr G) - "Nasty Girl" which went to No 1 here. "I'm a nasty girl with a, bad habit, a bad habit, for drugs..." Hilarious
He is a super talented comedian - whom I've met and he's extremely shy. He is talking about reprising J'amie and maybe Mr G, so fingers crossed...
