The exit polls were looking good when I first got to work on Nov. 2, 2004. But as you can see by the look on my face, things would turn grim quickly. As I go to bed in the wee hours of Nov. 4, 2008, I have full faith in (at least 50.1 percent of) the American people that they will make the right decision for our country.
