Page 1 Consider (11/07)

  • Party Pooper: Jay Cutler and the Denver Broncos spoil Brady Quinn's big-time debut. (Is this bad karma from endorsing McCain-Palin?) (AP)

  • Victory: Dozens of openly lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender candidates won their elections on Nov. 4, including Jared Polis who will join Reps. Tammy Baldwin and Barney Frank in the U.S. House of Representatives.

  • Obamania: Is there hope for the health of newspapers? Nah, just a one-off thing. (And I'm surprised people didn't prefer "screen grabs.")

  • The Wedding Planners: Prop 8's real victims: California florists, wedding cake makers, tuxedo shops and the like.

  • Hooker Gov: Eliot Spitzer gets off -- again.

  • Cabinet Fever: A post-election question for comics: What’s funny, and what’s fair game, about a President Barack Obama?

  • Replacing Rahm Emmanuel: As gay rights take a hit, perhaps another lesbian in Congress?

I get the distinct impression that Rahm Emmanuel is a big ole girl, don't you???

Are gay people really going to stop having weddings? Prop 8 didn't ban those, just the word "marriage." There are still churches that will host them.
