Came across some old contact sheets from a photo shoot my sweet friend Debra Pasquerette did for a school project at Arizona State University back in the late '80s. Greg and I were her always-willing guinea pigs -- Deb was older and artsy (and creative) and so much more worldly than we were (she was from the East Coast!). I'm still not sure what these were supposed to "mean" -- Greg was wrapped as some kind of mummy and I was sort of hugging him looking nearly ready for a toga party with a kickass farmer's tan -- but I still smile every time I think about that day in the desert with two friends, laughing and just being young and carefree ...
