Morning Wood

(EDITOR'S NOTE: This post was written by guest blogger Frank Anthony Polito.)

At last!

Admittedly, I'm not very good at finding the content we're all so accustomed to seeing here in the (212) each day... But I came across this photo (courtesy of Bravo TV) of Work Out's Jesse (l) and new hottie--I mean trainer--JD (r).

There's a nice interview with J & JD over on AfterElton, written by one of my MySpace writer friends, Josh Aterovis. It seems that JD a) has worked as a massage therapist "to the stars," with clients including Paris, Britney, and Janice (Dickinson, in case there's any confusion), b) is a wee-lad at the age of 26, and c) is recently single.

Craig and I finally had a chance to tune into the Season 3 premiere last night, pre-Idol emlimination (did you see who they finally gave the boot? I won't spoil it just in case you're all DVR'd and ready to go but haven't yet). Unfortunately, no appearance by JD until next week. For those of you who aren't pro-Work Out, I say give it a shot. The Eye Candy alone is worth it...

Though for whatever reason, I'm not into the other new guy, Greg. Sure, he's a "fitness model" and he's got a totally HOT bod, but something about his bright blue eyes totally creeps me out. And he says he's from the "east coast," but he's got one of those "accents from nowhere" (as Craig and I like to call it).

I don't know! Tune in Tuesday nights at 10PM and find out! (Do I sound like a paid advertisement or what?)

PS--Does anybody know what happened to Zen (the cute comedian girl) from seasons 1 & 2? I hate it when they drop a character from a show and they never mention them again... Like they never even existed.

I think it's because we share Southern roots, but I think Brian Peeler is totally adorable. Maybe he's not the "hunkiest" or "buffest" guy on the show, but he pushes my buttons. I'm a little nervous, though, that Jackie's going to fire him this season...

Maybe she went on to persue her stand up comedy? hehe Or that she didn't want to live on camera anymore...they have a ton more trainers at Sky Sport that were never on the show so...that might be it? I'm trying to find the video for the first episode...I haven't seen it yet, but I watched the last two seasons, with the 2nd season being quite teary! :T

I sent pics of JD Jordan, they're living in Kenneth's 212 email I guess. Whole lot of good that does.

I, too, LOVE Brian Peeler! And the fact thatn he's got his own T-shirt (what's it say? "Peelerized" or something to that extent.)

I've never been one for the new guy Greg types... Give me stocky with a perpensity to chub any day!

I do miss Zen and wish her the best... Wherever she may be!

Thanks for sending the pics of JD... I got them from Kenneth and will post ASAP.

This is from Zen's myspace...

I love what I do!
I was fortunate to be featured
on Season One and Two
of Bravo's TV show "WORK OUT".

Even though you will not see me on
Season 3 of "WORK OUT",
I still train many clients at Sky Sport
as an independent contractor.
I am currently working on many exciting
fitness projects, so stay tuned!

She also does long distance health consulting as well
