Even if I hadn't become friends with the author Frank Anthony Polito as he was writing his '80s gay coming of age tale set in the neighboring suburb of Detroit I grew up in, I still would have raced out to buy a copy. I cannot wait to get this book-- I was a sixth and half of seventh grade band fag at Page Middle School in Madison Heights and Richards Jr. High in Fraser. Way to go, Frank!
