Thanks to an early wake-up call from my lover, I just got tickets for Michael, Matt and me to go see Yaz on their big Reconnected Tour this summer!!! (How do I get back to sleep now?) In case you haven't heard, the famously short-lived duo of Alison Moyet and Vince Clarke are reuniting for the first time in more than 25 years to support a soon-to-be-released retrospective, "In Your Room." The four-disc set includes remasters and 5.1 mixes of both classic Yaz albums "Upstairs at Eric's" and "You and Me Both," b-sides, remixes and a DVD featuring a new short film containing exclusive new interviews with Clarke and Moyet and the promo videos for "Don't Go," "The Other Side Of Love," "Nobody's Diary," "Situation (1990)" and "Only You (1999)." That is amazing! I'm trying to find out if they're coming to Canada as part of this tour. Either that or I'll be driving 8 hours to Chicago or NY. This is a once in a lifetime thing. I think I need some ritalin!

It wasn't until I was searching for an MP3 file of Midnight (Robin S.) did I realize it was a dance version of their song. I listened to it and loved it and purchased it.

Suuuure. Rub it in. I was extremely disappointed to find out they were not coming to big D. A small tour indeed. You lucky fellow!! I am green with envy, and will have to salve my wounds with the boxed set.
I have seen Erasure live 6 times though.
WooHoo! I got me some tickets for Chicago. Row D smack dab in the middle. Now I only have to wait for four freakin' months!!!
